Trust in His Strength

philippians 4

I designed this for a dear blogger friend of mine πŸ™‚Β It’s also one of my favorite verses!

It’s easy to get burned out and exhausted when we’re running on our own human strength. We aren’t designed to carry the weight of the world on our shoulders. We aren’t designed to spend all our hours worrying and trying to get everything right. We are designed for His purpose, and when He says that nothing is impossible with Him, know that He’s got it covered. The world will hurl insults and discouragements at you to reduce your confidence. They’ll tell you lies like, “You’re not good enough. You can’t do this. You’re going to fail and humiliate yourself,Β so what’s the point of trying?”

But God says, “I am bigger than the fears, the insecurities, the doubts, the lies. I am bigger than whatever’s weighing you down today. Trust in my strength, and I will carry you through.”

And we all know that God never lies. πŸ™‚ So trust in His promises. If God is for us, who can be against us?

Thank you!!! You don’t know how timely this is. This week I’ve been feeling that “not that good enough”. It is the stress that comes when you are applying for internship to big companies, and trying to get a job in the media industry. It is tough out there. I spoke to a coworker of mine today whose cousin is the assistant of NBC’s ceo. She told me that it’s very competitive and they look at your current school and your GPA. Well, it is NBC. Even though I know I do very well I belittle myself. I feed myself lies instead of “taking every thought captive to Christ.” I am obeying Christ’s plans for me. How easy it is to feel defeated if the battle has actually been won and you know that God has a perfect plan for you. Anywhere, whether NBC or ABC or a starting company or even my own production company, if God places me there, that’s where I should be and where His glory is seen. Thank you so much. I love it!!!

Hi dear! Aw you’re welcome. I’m glad this post was able to encourage you. And yes I understand how intimidating the media can be, especially the big powerhouses like NBC or ABC. But think of David and Goliath, how everyone kept commenting on how impossible & difficult Goliath was, and how possible & easy God made the victory seem. If God has planned for you to work at NBC, He will make it possible. πŸ™‚ Just trust in His plans, because He has something amazing ahead and you’re bound to discover it soon! And can I have your email? I’d love to send the high-res wallpaper to you & chat with you there πŸ™‚ ❀
